I've been listening to Magic & Loss, a lot. And Coney Island Baby. Guess I felt compelled to paint Lou Reed the elder. I had this desire to work with pinks and candy reds......hence Diamond David.

This is an awesome blog Mila! Can't wait to see more! Everything up here is just fantastic, but I'm always partial to the rock. Lou Reed's a genius, if you like Coney Island Baby, remind me to hook you up with Street Hassle, it's a completely overlooked brilliant album by him in the same vein. Keep up the great work!!!!
Thanks Danny! And Street Hassle would be awesome. I'm thinking about doing a painting or drawing of Lou circa 1974.
